Not much of a color guy?! Bro your colors are fuckin incredible! (Especially in the sky on that 3rd one). I also think the color can help with clarity of form in the more frantic/hectic panels.

indefatigable responds:

yeah it probably does help the more abstract panels. and telling characters apart. its a struggle at times

Looks like book sleeve/cover art. Sick!

Trifoliumm responds:

gee thanks bub!

Fantastic colors, fantastic line, and fantastic form. I take it this is digitally colored but the lines are pencil scanned in? Lookin great! Your “dynamism” playlist is really inspiring stuff.

indefatigable responds:

i do color scanned in pencil at times but this one is all digital. but i like that it's hard to tell :)

appreciate it. the first chapter in the comic i make looks a lot like this piece if you were interested

How was ‘24 for you Jack?

jackartdotnet responds:

It was good. Some great and some not but it's been a decent time for me. Lots to look forward to in 2025!

The tech being integrated beneath the skin atop the muscles and sinew looks so sick! I prefer it when cyborgs maintain the tech imitating biology over the big clunky mechanical bits.

indefatigable responds:

the skin has actually likely been replaced with the plates. i'm not sure people are smart enough to do something so invasive without severe side-effects. recipients of this procedure will have some increased abilities, but also have to take anti-rejection drugs and have constant maintenance for the rest of their (likely shortened) lives.

which plays into some elements of the comic story ;)

Silverstein’s books are fantastic, loved em when I was a kid, especially all the characters and illustrations. His and Roald Dahl’s books always had the most fun illustrations. Oh and the Cressida Cowell how to train your dragon books! different tone but similar illustrations, those ones are very fun.

JosephiCrackowski responds:

thank you for taking me at least a little seriously. I really do like Silverstein's work.

Fear them flying saucers, cause they ain’t fraid of you, theyll snatch you to the stratosphere and drop you back as goo. What goes up must come down, except for them, they dont know how. So join me at the karman line, and way up here, we’ll pass the time.
